Our commitments

An accessible and inclusive place

Because it was unthinkable for us that people with disabilities could not come to us...

With the help of an occupational therapist from the Red Cross, we have created a studio that combines disability and modernity, quickly discover L'Atelier!

Its equipment :

  • Grab bars next to the toilet and in the shower
  • An anti-slip shower tray
  • A sink that can accommodate a wheelchair
  • Bed height 45 cm
  • Door width 83 cm
  • The clear surface area required for the rotation area
  • The dishes, the oven, the microwave... are accessible

Respect for the environment

By ethics, it is essential for us to implement daily actions that respect our planet.

  • Our cottage meets RT 2020 standards, which means better thermal insulation and the use of renewable energy via heat pumps.
  • Some of the lighting in the parking lot and terraces runs on solar energy.
    All bulbs are LED.
  • Faucets and toilet flushes are equipped with water savers.
  • Each studio has a bin for household waste, one for selective sorting (plastic and cardboard) and a common bin for glass.
  • All cleaning products (linen and household) are eco-labelled, we reuse the water from the dryer to steam clean the floors and carpets.
  • We provide shower gel/shampoo, hand soap and organic dishwashing liquid in dispensers that we fill to avoid packaging as well as washable sponges to avoid waste.
  • The handkerchiefs, napkins and toilet paper provided are made from recycled cardboard.
  • We have planted around 60 trees and shrubs on our land as well as several dozen plants of lavender and installed several insect hotels to promote biodiversity.

Short circuits

To promote the local economy,

  • The meal trays that we offer are concocted by Hervé, our butcher-caterer, “La Boucherie de la Place” in Cuisery.
  • The bread, pastries and tartlets are made by Didier our artisan baker from the “Boulangerie Le Fournil des Traditions” in Cuisery.
  • The red wines are grown, harvested and vinified by Lucie and François-Xavier of the “Domaine Lucie et François-Xavier Delorme” in Tournus.
  • The white wines and crémant are grown, harvested and vinified by Guillaume of the "Domaine de L'Echelette" in La Chapelle-sous-Brancion.
  • All the elements that make up our breakfasts are made in France.

Solidarity lodge

To support children with cancer and their families, I design washable cotton squares made from organic bamboo fiber which are offered (2 per studio).

After your visit to the studios, we count the quantity of cotton you take and we donate €1.50 per square to the Madicadabra Association of Bligny-sur-Ouche at the end of the year.

To find out what Emilie and the other members of the office donate to, we invite you to follow the association on Instagram:
