Our Favourite Producers at Tournus Market

We know this market well, so here are the producers and specialities we particularly recommend.

Vegetables: organic vegetables from Ferme des Levrats in Simandre and produce from Bernard Galopin in Ormes.

Eggs: organic eggs from La Poule Verte in Tournus.

Poultry: organic farm-reared poultry from Ferme des Palisses in La Chapelle-Thècle.

Cheese and dairy products: cheeses from Grégoire’s small stall, as well as cream and yoghurt from Ferme de Blanot.

Meat and cured meats: Ferme Josserand in Mantenay-Montlin.

Fruit and juices: Verger de la Panetière in Uchizy.

Practical Information

These four starting points can be reached directly on foot from the gîtes and do not have parking facilities. For a walk along the banks of the Seille, you can drive to the campsite and marina in Cuisery, where parking is available, and then walk along the river.Please keep your dog on a lead near homes, livestock and protected natural areas. Dog waste must always be collected to help keep the paths clean and respect local residents.
